Face Fit

If you’re installing inside the window frame we call it a Reveal Fit

 3. Measure the window frame & write down measurements in mm

Decide how you would like the blind to sit on the window

REVEAL FIT

Width: Use the metal measuring tape to measure the inside of the window frame from left to right in 3 different places and use the smallest measurement and record in mm.

Height:  Measure the inside of the window frame from top to bottom in 3 different places and use the smallest measurement Depth required:  Check the measurement from the window or window handles to the front of the window frame, to ensure there is enough room for the blind to operate freely.

Minimum Depth Required: Check the measurement from the window or window handles to the front of the window frame, to ensure there is enough room for the blind to operate freely.

  • 132mm (for the 127mm slats)
  • 95mm (for the 89mm slats)

Deductions: Apollo calculates the deductions required so the blind fits neatly inside the window frame, all you need to do is measure accurately!

FACE FIT

Width:  Measure the exact width of the area you would like the blind to cover. We recommend the blind overlaps the window by at least 100mm on each side. If you have an architrave we recommend measuring from outside of architrave to outside of architrave.

Height: Measure the exact height of the area you would like the blind to cover. We recommend the blind overlaps the window by at least 50mm on each edge. If you have an architrave we recommend measuring from outside of architrave to outside of architrave.

Note:  The blind will be supplied at the exact sizes you provide.
